Proposal for new student hall in Isambard Brunel Road

We commented previously on the proposal for a new student hall on the site of Chaucer House and the former Navigators pub.  Full details of what is proposed are now available here.

Unite, who will own and manage the property, said:

We are pleased to confirm that Unite Group Plc has recently submitted a full planning application to Portsmouth City Council for the redevelopment the above site. Our plans propose a high quality mixed use scheme providing accommodation for 484 students and 704sqm of commercial floor space.
