Southampton University - Housing Affordability event

We have a speaker at this event on the 9th November and whilst it is probably more of academic interest, many members may wish to attend. This is the detail we have:

I'm writing as the Law School's research centre (Property and People) is holding an event on the morning of 9th November in Southampton as part of the University's 'Festival of Social Science'. The main theme for this year's festival is 'My local area' and our event will focus on housing affordability in the cost of living crisis and what, if anything, can be done about it.

We are planning on having talks from a variety of perspectives on housing affordability. There will be presentations from a range of experts on – the cost of housing - mediation with your landlord - what happens if you can't pay – illegal eviction - campaigning about affordability - what's happening elsewhere in the world - getting help - future strategies. There will be speakers from Southampton Law School and a range of stakeholders, campaigners and other academics.

Digital Home Becomes Zybre

We were hoping to get an update from Digital Home on progress on PDPLA connections - we believe there are over 100 now, and plans going forward as they have merged with local gaming and content company Zybre.

Sadly, nothing to report at time of going to press - but our existing deal is available to all members, full details here.
