At our meetings this month, we had representatives from Portsmouth, Havant and East Hants all keen to find landlords to work with in their efforts to reduce homelessness. Watch the video of the session with Portsmouth and Havant from our February 2020 members meeting and read on for details of the working group that Portsmouth wants to put in place to better understand what is important to us as landlords.
At our meeting this month, Janice Davis and Sharon George from Portsmouth City Council made a plea for landlords to work with them and Darren Hillier from Havant who is coming at the same problem from a slightly different angle. Check out the recording of the session to the right and if interested do contact the speakers - full details in the video.
After the meeting this month, Janice Davis suggested, " I propose, hopefully with the support of the PDPLA, to set up a meeting with up to 10 landlords so we can learn what it is a landlord sees as the opportunities and the areas of development needed to work with us to deliver this new scheme. We as a local authority, would like to further understand what is important to landlords, and understand what package we can create to work together and sustain tenancies."
