Welcome to 2020! Our first news of the decade contains links to 2 Portsmouth City Council surveys – do take the time before the year gets busy to input your views, it could save you a lot of time and money later. One of the surveys is from the team who will be talking at our January meeting on energy efficiency – it is a wide ranging and ambitious consultation, so do have a look and also read our thoughts on Smart homes for the 21st century too.
Today, our sister organisation, the RLA merges with the NLA so all local NLA members will become affiliate members of the PDPLA, so if you see lots of new faces at forthcoming meetings, do make them welcome and the new organisation, the NRLA, will be the main topic of our March meeting so make sure you add that one to your diaries.
No blog from Charlotte this month, a little birdie tells us that she is too busy making money – so hopefully updates on that next month. And as we finalise our speakers for this year, along with details of our conference and also our education plans do please let us know if there are topics that you are particularly interested in or better still, if you can spare a few minutes to help us organise one or more.
