The PDPLA list of recommended suppliers is one of our most popular member benefits – only local landlords can recommend suppliers and members rate and recommend individuals and companies, so when looking for a trader or supplier you know that if they are on the list, it is not because we make money from them or they pay to be there – a PDPLA recommended supplier is only recommended if a PDPLA member has had a good experience using them.
This month we have a new supplier for solar PV installations, for EV (electric vehicle) charging points and for battery storage solutions plus we have added Digital Home (an omission on our part) and highlight several others.
Our new solar and EV charger installer is PV Plus – a small Southampton based company that covers the whole area. They have proved excellent with repairs to faulty solar PV systems installed by others and with EV charger points – so if you need help in these areas, do please consider them and mention the PDPLA when you do so.
We have also added Digital Home. As they have their own page on our website (PDPLA Announces Broadband Deal With Digital Home - PDPLA News - Portsmouth and District Private Landlords Association) we neglected to add them to our Recommended Traders, but have done so now.
We also suggest you look under 'Miscellaneous' (Miscellaneous - Portsmouth and District Private Landlords Association (pdpla.com)) – here you will find the 16 companies that we don't have a logical heading for including our own Alice Ibbotson (Hampshire Property Consultants) for help with licencing, fire risk assessments, HHSRS and the like, companies that clean and repair gutters, B&Q, Alan Boswell Insurance, a video inventory company, scaffolders, architects, damp specialists and planning experts – so a wide variety. And if there is someone you swear by, do check whether they are on the list and if they are not, do please add them(Add Recommended Supplier (pdpla.com))
