In our last newsletter of this decade, we resist the temptation to reminisce and instead look forward to the 20's - will they be 'roaring' this time around? As landlords it is often quicker and easier to get things done as a lone individual but we will always achieve more and bigger things as part of a team. Whether working with other investors and property managers or tenants or even local authorities, together we will always achieve more.
As Charlotte explains so well in her blog this month, people work better together so we will continue to strive to create an environment where we can do this. See our thoughts on Property and Tenancy MoT's and let us know yours.
Not many local authorities send us a Christmas, "Thank you for providing another year of excellent accommodation for members of our community. Your efforts are very much appreciated and I know that by working together we can raise the living standards of everyone across our wonderful and vibrant city." But lets see whether collectively, we can change the tone of our working relationships such that messages like this become the norm.
And when a politician or supporter knocks your door between now and election day do have our manifesto to hand.
Hopefully we will see you at one of our events this month, but whether we do or not, we wish all of our members and those we work with a happy and peaceful Christmas period - may all our boilers work until such time as our gas fitters are once again available.
